Kuaderno!

Hola, me han comentado que a los padres se les ha enviado un correo diciéndoles que caduca el viernes el período de prueba gratis de Kuaderno. Eso NO es verdad-- ha sido un error suyo. 

Tenemos hasta el 13 de diciembre, y antes de finalizar ese período se os comunicará si lo vamos a contratar como centro, en cuyo caso seguiría siendo gratis, o si no, en cuyo caso las familias que quieran seguir lo pueden contratar de forma particular.

También nos han dado algo más de plazo para terminar de matricular a los alumnos que todavía no han podido entrar.

Si habéis tenido problemas en cualquier momento, me dicen que es mejor que las familias contacten directamente con la página, para poder solucionar ellos las incidencias.  En esta página https://kuaderno.com/help/ si vais hacia abajo del todo hay un botón de "Solicitar Ayuda."

Por último, animo a todos a que aprovechen esta oportunidad de practicar todas las destrezas del inglés de forma divertida.  ¡Algunos ya están a punto de pasar al siguiente nivel!

Importante sobre Kuaderno!

Para poder aprovechar la oferta de Kuaderno, hay que registrarse en la página antes del martes, 28. Sé que algunos habéis tenido problemas. Por favor, volvad a intentarlo este fin de semana y si sigue habiendo problemas, intento solucionarlos el lunes.  Para ello necesito que me llevéis tu usuario asignado y la contraseña, y una nota explicando el problema que habéis tenido.

De esa forma puedo contactar con el Soporte Técnico de la página y pedir que mantengan abiertas estas cuentas e intentar resolver el problema.

Pure Substances and Mixtures

Matter is everything around us that takes up space and has mass.  We can classify matter into pure substances and mixtures.

Pure substances have only one type of particle. They can be made of elements or compounds.

Elements have only one type of atom. They are classified in the Periodic Table:

Do you know what these symbols mean?  Au,  Fe, H, O, Na, Cl, C

Compounds are made up of two or more elements combined in a particular way. For example: H20 or  NaCl. 

                     

     

To separate a compound, you must perform some type of chemical reaction.

A mixture is a combination of pure substances.   

In heterogeneous mixtures, we can see the different parts with the naked eye.

In homogeneous mixtures, you can't see the individual parts. It all looks the same:

We are going to study a bit about Goya.  He was born under Ferdinand VI (1746), then grew up under the enlightened monarchy of Charles III. In 1789 (the year the French Revolution began), he became court painter to King Charles IV.
