Peace Day!

On Monday we will celebrate Peace Day!

Peace is like a giant cake-- you need lots of ingredients to create it.


What would you put into a Peace Cake?

We are going to add our own ingredient:  empathy!

Empathy is understanding how someone feels and sharing their emotions.

 We are going to take an empathy pledge.

 I'm sure you know the peace symbol:

But did you know that there is also an empathy symbol?

Let's add lots of empathy to our cake of peace!

 Remember to wear a white shirt on Monday (you do not need to wear a chef's hat!)
